Farm to Family Coupon Pick-Up Event: Connecting Families with Fresh Local Food

The Farm to Family program helps Vermont families bring more fresh, local produce into their homes. Families who are eligible for WIC receive $30 in coupons that can be used to purchase fruits, vegetables, and herbs from participating farmers’ markets and farmstands, including the Common Roots Farmstand.

This annual gathering is more than a coupon distribution day. It is a chance for families to meet local farm vendors, learn about seasonal produce, and connect directly with the people growing food in our community. Common Roots will be there to share information about our Farmstand, welcome families into the local food system, and support greater access to nourishing food.
