FARM FRESH MEALS
After 12 years of growing nutrient-dense foods for families to select we move to a new model in 2020: offering fresh produce to the South Burlington Food Shelf for families and households to select. Interns and volunteers set up a Farmstand each time the Food Shelf is open from early May to Thanksgiving.
FARM TO FORK - TUESDAYS
New and exciting dishes created every Tuesday. Your choice to purchase meals supports our building the revenue necessary to continue our Farm to School student-chef middle school program.
To date, we have sent over 1,800 balanced meals home with students which they have prepared for their family dinner.
FLATBREAD - FRIDAYS
The proceeds from Flatbread Fridays will be used toward the $50,000 in certified, organic produce, local value-added products we will bring to the Common Roots Farmstand at the South Burlington Food Shelf from May through Thanksgiving 2021.
