Common Roots provides ongoing training for Middle Schoolers in 6-week sessions.  

Our Student Chefs bring home nourishing, balanced meals, and recipes for their families.  Students have prepared over 13,000 meals to date.  


We Empower Student Chefs as they:

  • Prepare balanced, nutritious meals to bring home to their families for dinner

  • Build culinary skills that promote health

  • Practice existing recipes and create their own

To date, our students chefs have prepared over 13,000 meals for their families.
