We hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the farmstand already this season and WELCOME TO ALL OUR NEW MEMBERS!
This Saturday, June 1st marks our GRAND OPENING! The farmstand will remain open 7 days/week, 8am-8pm through Thanksgiving. WHOA! Here’s what you need to know:
-We’ll be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration from 11-1 on Saturday. We’ll have samples, salad and the farmers will be around to introduce ourselves and answer any questions. Everyone is welcome and we encourage those who have not visited the stand yet to come on by and get the lay of the land. Laura, of Caramel by Laura, will be sampling her homemade caramel and it is truly delicious (read more about her below). We hope to see you there!
-Produce will be restocked daily, but in the event we sell out of something, we want you to know that our harvests will take place on Mondays and Fridays for now. This means that Monday and Friday afternoons are when new crops could be hitting the farmstand floor, just in time for those busy summer weekends and a fresh start to each week.
-NEW FieldStone Farm Pizzas are due in for the weekend! We’ll have Spinach Walnut Gorgonzola and Tomato Garlic Feta. These pizza’s are truly superb! Always a good item for your freezer if you can’t eat right away 🙂
-We’re adding Strafford Organic Milk, Butterworks Organic Yogurt and Cabot Butter to our product list this month. Our first dairy delivery is due in on Monday, June 3rd. More eggs are due in later this month, and we’re striving to give you the dairy staples! Please let us know how we can better serve you: email@example.com
–O Bread will be delivered on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the bread delivery schedule going forward.
-If you plan to purchase bread and dairy at our farmstand regularly, we would love to hear from you! Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you’re interested in, which days you like to shop, how much you buy at a time, etc! A suggestion box will be added to the stand in the coming weeks 🙂
Our interns start next week, so you’ll be seeing many new faces, and a lot more activity about the farm in the coming days. We’ll be introducing you to our team in the next newsletter, so stay tuned!
