Common Roots Farming

Common Roots farms 15 acres at the Farm at South Village, and 4 acres at Hubbard Park. Real Organic Project (ROP) certified, our produce is grown observing farming practices that prioritize soil health and sustainability, delivering the most nutrient dense food possible to our community.

Our farming activities provide fresh produce for our seasonal farmstand market, for food shelves, and our programs. Our farm is Real Organic Certified.

Organic Farming

One of our core tenets at Common Roots is that we are stewards of the land for future generations who rely on us to leave the soil, air and water in better shape than when we came.

In addition to the Real Organic Project and Vermont Certified Organic, we work to ensure we adapt and adjust during this era of climate change.

Common Roots is a place where I get to connect with nature and see the wonder in my child's eyes as we discover together.
