Together We Can Do More

Common Roots is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit addressing food equity in our community through growing and distributing food and providing education to foster knowledge for healthy nutrition choice. Our work serves the community now and is laying groundwork for future generations to have food equity and food security, through a sustainable farming, market, and sharing model.  Your gift helps us to ensure food equity needs are met in the community and that fair and equitable local food systems are in place to serve future generations. All gifts are tax deductible.  Gifts of all amounts are deeply appreciated.

Together we can ensure food equity in our community.  We can set the table for food access for everyone.

Through our farm, farmstand, kitchen, farmstand at the food shelf, gleaning and giving, we can assure that local food security needs are met.

  • Through education and programming, we offer kids knowledge to make good nutrition choices, they actually enjoy!

  • Through our volunteer, intern, and giving programs, we share, how serving the community offers rewards that satiate the soul, while our work satiates appetites.

We sincerely appreciate every gift. Common Roots inc is a 501(c)(3 non profit charity, and your gift is tax deductible.

Flex Cards

For Farm to Fork, Comfort Food and Flatbread Fridays, to Farmstand purchases, customer loyalty helps us too! Our goal has always been to fund our charitable programs with proceeds from our income-producing programs, along with charitable contributions and grant support.

When we all pitch in, the work is easy. Lend a hand! Whether food equity, food education, or farming is your passion, we need you with us as we grow!

Seeding the Future

We are planning now for the future of food equity.  We are actively seeking additional farmland, and opportunities to grow, along with advocacy for food equity programming, grants and partnerships with like-minded others.
