Carol has decades of experience educating children, working with families, building community programs, and fundraising. In 1984, she co-founded Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity, the 52nd affiliate in the US. In 2009, she co-founded Common Roots, a nonprofit organization centered on food education, food security, and land stewardship. Carol is passionate about leaving a vibrant and viable food system for future generations. She loves that our Common Roots’ circle and impacts continue to grow stronger.
